- How to boil
In a large pot bring about 2L of water to a boil. Add 2 Tbsp of table salt to each litre of water. Once the water is boiling, gently add the live whole lobster claw first to the pot, one at a time. Once the water returns to a boil start measuring the time so that you don't overcook the lobster. It takes approximately 12-15minutes for a 450g size lobster to be ready.
- How to grill
Using an already cooked lobster, cut it vertically down the belly and remove the main vein running down its back and the green viscera, which is the stomach and intestines. Crack the claws in half as well. Pour melted butter on the meat.With the shell side down, place it directly on the heated grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes or until the lobster is heated through.
